For what is used it?

In fact the various elements indicated on your recording career then make it possible to determine the amount of your basic retreat. With regard to the supplementary pension, you annually receive a recording of points acquired during the previous year, and their office plurality.

What does it contain?

The recording of career is a summary of the validated quarters, but also of the wages forwarded to the contribution old age, within the limit of the roof of the social security, throughout your professional path. It is appeared as a summary table.

The number of validated quarters each year is function of the wages and not of the real work period. Certain periods of sick leave, like the periods of disease, unemployment, military service, industrial accident, disability or maternity, can be comparable like quarters and will thus be taken into account on your recording career.

The recording of career also indicates the working lives carried out in sectors not depending on the general scheme, such as farmer, trading, craftsman, the SNCF, EDF… Each regime communicates every year with the Social security the number of quarters that you validated during the year.

Certain events of your course do not appear on the recording of career and are however taken into account. It is the case for example for the women having raised their children. Eight additional quarters are granted by child and are related to the account only at the time of the liquidation of the retreat. It is the case also years of work abroad which are taken into account for the retreat in France.

How and when to obtain it?

It is possible to ask for its recording of career any age, free. It can be obtained on line on the site of your , by mail or while returning to you in a point greeting . It is advised to ask it two or three years before your retirement, if you did not receive it automatically, in order to be able to check all the indexed elements and to be able to provide in times the missing documents in proof, if it is necessary.
